Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Policy and Planning)

About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the NETCOM Europe Wiesbaden, Germany .

Supervises program execution and the accomplishment of engineering tasks supporting theater operations through staff of senior IT specialists/actions officers and military ranks.

Provides leadership of a team of technical experts and IT specialists who deliver expert electronics engineers support for the Information Management System sin the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Europe.

Directs, coordinates or oversees work through subordinate supervisors and leaders.

Communicates the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values to ensure they are integrated into the strategies, goals, objective, work plans, and work products and services.

Leads a team of technical personnel to determine and specify architectural and technical parameters that engineering solutions must adhere to.

Develops and updates the NETCOM Europe theater specific Information Systems Modernization Plan.
