Supervisory Information Technology Specialist
Summary
Supervises IT staff and contractors to develop, validate, and implement cybersecurity and information systems requirements for the U.S. Army Cyber Command in Hawaii.
About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at Fort Shafter in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Performs the collection, analysis, validation, and prioritization of requirements, and if required, the development of information systems project plans.
Develops requirements, contract documents, List of Material (LOM) also coordinates material acquisition, shipment, and accounting as required to procure equipment in support of the Commands worldwide.
Exercises supervision and control over military personnel, civilian staff and contractors which consists of technical and engineer professionals.
Develops requirements for technical solutions and project implementation plans that consider and amplify systems architecture, interoperability, and overall end-to-end compatibility.
