Supervisory Intelligence Specialist (GMI Analyst)

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the National Ground intelligence Center, GEOSPTIAL Intelligence Battalion, Global Target Analysis Division, Army GEOINT Battalion-Denver Branch, Buckley AFB, CO 80011.

Serves as a Branch Chief with responsibility for planning, directing, and evaluating the work of a branch whose mission is to conduct geospatial-intelligence (GEOINT) analysis and production.

Exercises program planning, direction and evaluation responsibilities for the design, production and maintenance of highly critical and time sensitive GEOINT products.

Supervises military and civilian personnel involved in production of geospatial intelligence products.

Represents the organization at higher HQs, the Army and within the Department of Defense (DOD) and National Intelligence Community on assigned requirements, missions, and capabilities.
