Supervisory Intelligence Specialist (Operations)

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at INSCOM National Ground Intelligence Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Develops and implements concepts, policies, plans, and procedures necessary to manage the day-to-day execution of the Defense Watchlist or Defense Intelligence Analysis Program Production.

Supervises an all-source intelligence production branch responsible for managing activities concerning Identity Intelligence analysis and information.

Responsible for planning, directing, controlling, reviewing and evaluating the work of all-source analysts who develop finished intelligence products focused on individuals, human networks and populations of intelligence interest.

Reviews operations, evaluates program effectiveness by review of reports, and discussion with subordinates.

Provides authoritative advice and policy guidance, acts as a spokesperson for the organization, and obtains support and interagency concurrence for the organization's programs and priorities.
