SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY

You will serve as the Deputy Assistant Public Works Officer for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and is part of the Public Works Department (PWD) Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH) of NAVAL STATION. This interdisciplinary position will be filled as one of the following job series: 0801 / 0810 / 0830/ 0850 / 0808 . A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

You will coordinate project requirements and specifications with various activities to complete facility projects

You will review construction project parameters (e.g., integration, scope, time, cost, quality, communication, procurement, risk management) to recommend changes that will improve the overall project results.

You will brief management and staff to clarify planning and construction plans

You will discuss technical matters relating to test development and process improvement to sponsors, program office, fleet representatives, and contractors.

You will mentor employees in the areas of engineering to ensure future capability

You will mentor staff in technical proficiency in design engineering and construction to assist in work completion.
