SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (IT OPERATIONS AND SECURITY)
Summary
The Supervisory IT Specialist develops and maintains cybersecurity strategies, policies, and compliance plans for the Naval Special Warfare Command. The role involves overseeing IT operations, ensuring the use of secure technologies, and coordinating projects to support operational requirements.
You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (IT Operations and Security) in the C4I; N62 of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND.
You will develop and maintain cybersecurity plans, strategy, and policy to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance.
You will analyze and evaluate work concerned with integrated systems of computer programs and/or computer equipment with a focus on cyber compliance.
You will ensure the latest technologies are being utilized(hardware and software) by individuals holding industry certifications to ensure that products produced are forensically sound.
You will plan, design, and carry out studies or projects, coordinating with subordinates and experts both within and outside the organization.
You will visit deployed operational forces periodically to observe operating environments and conditions to aid in developing assessments of operational requirements.
