Supervisory IT Specialist (Network)

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, California. A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Serves as the technical IT (Network) expert, authority, and advisor for the Military Treatment Facility and its branch clinics.

Plans, directs, and oversees the total breadth of activity required to ensure the continuous availability of the MTF's network infrastructure.

Ensures the organization's network is operational to provide a wide range of services that are vital to the accomplishment of mission requirements.

Develops organizational policies and procedures for implementation of guidance from higher-level authority.

Defines and distributes new regulatory requirements to subordinate commands (branch clinics) and advises on the development and compliance of command directives, policies, and procedures relative to IT operations.

Establishes clear performance expectations and standards for the team, ensuring that goals and objectives are measurable, achievable, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Oversees the IT team's customer support workload to ensure efficient and effective support.
