Supervisory IT Specialist

The Collaborative Services Division provides support and coordination for enterprise systems that facilitate collaboration and information sharing within the agency and the public. This position serves as Branch Chief of the Videoconferencing, Streaming and Operation Branch and is responsible for oversight and coordination of end-to-end A/V technical and operational support, and associated A/V services.

The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year. You're a technical leader who enjoys supporting AV and streaming systems and infrastructure by evaluating, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting related hardware, software, and management tools to ensure reliable service delivery. You're committed to developing and improving technical requirements, policies, procedures, standards, and best practices for AV and streaming services, live event support, and operational continuity. You enjoy analyzing customer needs and translate them into technical AV and streaming solutions while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective testing, implementation, and ongoing support. You're an effective leader who has experience supervising technical staff supporting AV and streaming operations by planning and assigning work, setting priorities and schedules, reviewing progress, and monitoring performance
