Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team providing supervisory legal administrative support. Typical work assignments will include: Plans and organizes employee work assignments, milestones, and deadlines to be accomplished by employees for trial preparation and other legal support activities; Provides technical advice, guidance, and training to legal support staff; Performs legal research and provides a variety of legal assistance and technical work requiring a specialized knowledge of processes, procedures, and practices to support legal activities. Coordinates with other administrative functional areas in order to support the office's litigative activities. Ensures an even flow and distribution of work, expeditiously while handling priority work to meet court deadlines during the coverage of arraignment functions Monday through Saturday (including holidays). Provides briefings to AUSAs and police officers on Intake/Papering/arraignment procedural matters. Directs the intake/papering process. Informs the Court regarding readiness of cases for arraignment. Overseas the execution of criminal history checks and backgrounds investigations, on arrestees. Coordinates fugitive matters with law enforcement agencies in other jurisdictions. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
