Supervisory Management Analyst
As Supervisory Management Analyst (Branch Chief) in the Science Mission Directorate's (SMD's) Strategic Integration and Management Branch, you will lead a team of highly skilled analysts in delivering comprehensive support and solutions for SMD. This role interfaces directly with SMD's Associate Administrator, providing forward-thinking strategy for NASA's science programs while coordinating engagement with key stakeholders, including Congress and the Executive Office of the President.
Provides strategic advice and guidance to senior leadership on broad science programs and projects, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and organizational priorities.
Oversees the analysis and interpretation of executive, legislative, budgetary, and agency process documents, to ensure organizational priorities and mission objectives align with applicable requirements.
Serves as SMD’s liaison to the Executive Office of the President, coordinating the development, review, and execution of actions.
Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders across NASA, the federal government, private industry, and universities to advance science programs and projects.
Oversees the development, coordination, and executive review of testimonies, congressional correspondence and reports, white papers, and staff briefings, and responses to congressional actions.
Oversees SMD’s Partnership process, Office of Inspector General, and Government Accountability Office Audits, and other cross-cutting strategic functions.
Manages the internal and external operations of the branch to accomplish science mission objectives and goals.
Perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.
