Supervisory Medical Records Technician
This Supervisory Medical Records Technician position is located in the Health Information Management (HIM) Department at Whiteriver Service Unit (WRSU). The incumbent directs, manages, plans, organizes, implements, and coordinates the section within goals and budget of the Whiteriver Services Unit. Develop, analyze, and implement procedures to ensure the proper flow of work and reviewed procedures for effectiveness. Train staff on medical records policies, procedures, and mandatory Privacy Act/HIPAA requirements. Review and evaluate clinical records to ensure they met Service Unit and Joint Commission standards and ensure records are complete, accurate, and available when needed. Maintain confidential patient information, coordinate the release and retrieval of medical records, and ensure records are filed, archived, and maintained accurately.
