Supervisory Medical Records Technician

About the Position: This position is located within the Patient Administration and Outpatient Records Office at Moncrief Army Health Clinic at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Directs the daily operations of the Outpatient Medical Records Branch.

Develops local policies and standard operating procedures for the medical records section.

Evaluates the work performance of assigned personnel.

Resolves employee complaints and minor disciplinary issues.

Oversees the facility's medical correspondence and Release of Information (ROI)program.

Prepares formal reports regarding medical record discrepancies.

Compiles requested medical data from various healthcare information systems.
