Supervisory Mission Support Specialist

As a Supervisory Mission Support Specialist, you will lead the mission support operations, advise senior leadership on workforce and resources, oversee daily operations, resolve complex challenges, and drive process improvements that advance the effectiveness of the Chief Data and Analytics Office's mission.
Provide supervisory oversight for core-mission-support functions, including workforce, budget, property, travel, training, and administrative operations.
Supervise staff by assigned work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, resolving issues, and ensuring needed resources.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day mission support activities to ensure timely execution of organizational requirements, priorities, and leadership decisions.
Advise senior leadership on mission support requirements, organizational priorities, and administrative matters impacting daily operations.
Represent the office in meetings and working groups, communicate program updates, manage high-priority projects, and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S. Federal or Military employee serving overseas. Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a twelve-month probationary period upon appointment to this position. You may also be required to complete an appropriate supervisory training course within one year of assignment to this position.
