Supervisory Natural Resources Management Specialist
About the Position: Serves as the Supervisory Natural Resources Management Specialist for the Recreation and Natural Resources project office for the St. Paul District in Minnesota. The incumbent will manage the operation of a large, multipurpose lake project that supports flood control, water supply, environmental stewardship, and high-use public recreation.
Assigning work requirements to subordinate team members for new or changed programs, functions, goals, and processes.
Developing guidelines, standards, and/or procedures for analyzing public needs, demands, site carrying capacities and resource capabilities.
Planning and leading the construction for the rehabilitation of campsites, picnic sites, roads, and associated structures in the recreation areas.
Responds to correspondence and inquiries from the public and internal/external stakeholders.
Preparing budget estimates for personnel, equipment and/or materials for various projects.
