SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER

You will serve as a SHIFT TEST SUPERVISOR in the NUCLEAR ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT (CODE 2300) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

You will work directly for the Chief Test Engineer who is responsible for the nuclear reactor test program preparation including test sequences, test specifications, operations procedures, test procedures and test equipment services.

You will assure the safety of the reactor plant at all times during the assigned shift.

You will determine the appropriateness of plant responses to systems operations by evaluating the parameters and determining the likely cause and recommending the advisability of continuing the test sequence.

You will act as an authority in resolving problems of a critical and technically complex nature.

You will supervise formal detailed briefings for the shipyard and Ship's Force personnel involved in a reactor test oepration.
