SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER

You will serve as a Supervisory Nuclear Engineer in the Special Materials Identification Code Engineering Branch (SMIC), Nuclear Material Manager Division of the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

You will provide technical supervision of engineering operations and testing of nuclear reactor plant systems for servicing ships.

You will analyze test results to determine necessary changes to nuclear reactor plant systems or operational procedures.

You will implement appropriate planning, direction, and timely execution of testing and operations.

You will evaluate requests to perform maintenance, repair, or overhaul work on reactor plant components (mechanical, structural, and electrical).
