Supervisory Nurse (Clinical/Emergency Department)

About the Position: This position is located in the Emergency Department at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) in Fort Gordon, Georgia. The position consists of supervising staff, managing daily operations in the Emergency Department, triaging patients and/or serving as charge nurse. The ER is open 24/7/365 with rotating shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours; (This recruitment is for 3rd shift). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Serve as a clinical nurse performing a variety of professional nursing and health services to patients of all ages.

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting for urgent or emergent care.

Teaches, onboards, and mentors professional and paraprofessional nursing staff.

Assists with complex nursing and diagnostic procedures.

Supervising professional and paraprofessional nursing staff.

Managing daily operations in the Emergency Department to include; triaging patients and/or serving as charge nurse.

Coordinated and assigns work to subordinates based on priorities.

Conducts and participates in the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of a facility, departmental, or unit-based programs.
