About the Position: This position is located at General Leonard Wood Community Hospital Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
Assign staff to patient care duties based on patient condition and expertise of staff.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients based on established protocols and medical requirements, provider's medical care plan, and the needs of the patient.
Provide independent and competent nursing decisions and is able to carry out provider orders in safe manner with little or no supervision.
Plan and assign work of subordinates, sets priorities and prepares work schedules.
Provide guidance, orientation, and training to the paraprofessional staff.
