Summary

Supervise patent quality review activities, analyze examination trends, and recommend improvements to ensure consistent patent examination quality across the USPTO.

Lead the advancement of patent examination quality across the USPTO as a Supervisory Patent Review Quality Assurance Specialist in the Office of Patent Quality Assurance (OPQA). In this role, you will supervise patent quality review activities, provide technical leadership and guidance, analyze examination trends, and recommend improvements that strengthen the quality and consistency of patent examination agency wide.

The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year.
