As a Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist (Branch Chief, Adjudications), you will: Direct and supervise the critical analysis and evaluation of background investigation reports and other information obtained from multiple sources related to the loyalty and suitability of applicants and employees; determines whether administrative consideration is warranted and makes suitability and adjudicative decisions. Review security recommendations to ensure evaluations, judgments, and recommendations conform to established criteria and keeps abreast of changes in Executive Orders, laws, regulations, standards, and programs affecting the Personnel Security Program. Serve as liaison with security offices of other Federal agencies, including OPM, DoD/DCSA, and DOS, to provide for the necessary interchange of security information. Exercise full supervisory authority over subordinate personnel security specialists, security assistants, and contractors; assigns work, establishes priorities, evaluates performance, and ensures timely completion of personnel security operations.
