Supervisory Pharmacy Technician

About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma Washington. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Receive and review prescriptions, using knowledge of general principles of pharmaceutical practices.

Advise patients and professional medical personnel of possible adverse reactions and drug interactions.

Inventory and reorder medications and other pharmacy supplies according to pharmacy operating requirements and procedures.

Assign responsibilities to subordinates.

Determine training needs and assure necessary training needs are filled.

Prepare requests for filling vacancies and select subordinates.
