The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing technical and administrative supervision over subordinates/employees and to serve as senior HQ AMC Long Range Planner providing expertise in planning, implementing and directing the preparation and presentation of the Rapid Global Mobility (RGM) Core Function Lead consisting of 238 programs. Duties: As Branch Chief, plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Long Range Planning Branch, ensuring that the Long Range Planning Branch complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents HQ AMC to HQ USAF and other AF MAJCOMS. Applying Air Force military rated aviator experience, analyzes, develops, and evaluates detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation of assigned major command programs. Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned programs.
