Supervisory Program Specialist

Securing Travel, Protecting People - At the Transportation Security Administration, you will serve in a high-stakes environment to safeguard the American way of life. This Supervisory Program Specialist position is located in Facilities and Administration (F&A),Mission Support (MS), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Serves as Supervisory Program Specialist leading the F&A Front Office Team and acts as principle Specialist on behalf of the F&A Assistant Administrator Reviews and validates content of strategic reports to Congress, Office of Inspector General (IG),Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Government Accountability Office (GAO). Provides feedback to division based upon understanding of vision and needs Oversees tasking, tracking, reviewing, and coordinating and integrating a broad range of tasks. Conducts research on Legislative proposals, Department-level or Agency-level strategic plans, and Congressional Questions for the Record; and provides background information, prepares reports and written responses to internal and external requests for use by senior management and other internal and external sources. Maintains baseline performance metrics, identifies areas for improvement in the F&A correspondence process, updates and maintains standard operating procedures for the Correspondence team.

You must possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National. You must have reached the minimum age (18) at the time of application. You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI). Selective Service registration is required. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. You may be required to complete a one year Supervisory Trial Period.
