SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (AMMO)

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (AMMO) in the QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) DEPARTMENT of NAVSUBTORP FAC.

You will directly supervise a team of government civilian personnel, exercising managerial authority to achieve the goals of the MK48 IMA.

You will plan and assign work, set priorities, and evaluate employee performance.

You will manage the implementation and execution of the MK-48 Torpedo Quality Management System.

You will be responsible for the command Training and Qualification program.

You will develop and implement methods to improve processes, reduce bottlenecks, and promote team building.

You will set quality policies and act as a torpedo quality advisor to the Commanding Officer.

You will manage several key programs, including the internal audit program, Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA), training and qualification, and technical document control.

You will serve as a member of the Torpedo Enterprise Global Quality Council Board of Directors, providing strategic direction.

You will be responsible for in-process and final inspection of products, as well as the review of all quality-related documentation.

You will provide technical guidance and advice for Quality Inspectors and maintenance personnel.

You will manage the verification of all maintenance records and the technical publication library.

You will serve as a Technical Assistant for NAVSEA service contracts by defining contract requirements, monitoring contractor deliverables, and providing performance assessment reports to the Contracting Officer's Representative.
