Supervisory Safety and Occupational Health Manager
The Safety & Occupational Health Manager serves as the designated Safety Officer for the Martinsburg VA Medical Center (MWV VAMC), a complexity level 1 C tertiary care facility. This position contributes to the VA's mission by ensuring a safe environment of care, supporting uninterrupted delivery of health services to Veterans, and protecting the medical centers' reputation and resources.

Ensures compliance with occupational safety and health laws, regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements. Conducts or oversees inspections, hazard assessments, accident investigations, and corrective actions. Develops and implements safety policies, procedures, and training. Advises management on occupational safety and health matters. Supervises safety and occupational health staff.
