Supervisory Security Guard

About the Position: USASOC Enterprise Guard Force, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Performs supervisory and administrative duties for the security guard force at assigned facilities. Work supervised is Lead Security Guard, GS-07 and Security Guard, GS-06.

Implements plans and supervises the activities of a guard force on rotating shifts 24/7.

Conducts vehicle searches/inspections (to include cargo areas, engine compartments and undercarriages), in accordance with standing operating procedures.

Sets employee standards/objectives for performance and prepares performance evaluations based on employee compliance.

Prepares management reports as required, approves leave, fosters management-employee communications, and maintains good employee morale and discipline.

Inspects containers, personal property, and documents on private, commercial and government vehicles, and exercises tact, courtesy, and firmness in the performance of all force protection duties.
