Supervisory Social Worker (Clinical)

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Medical Center San Diego in San Diego with Directorate of Mental Health. Advanced In-Hire MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Make behavioral health diagnoses and provide individual and group therapy, using various modalities such as brief problem-focused psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and client-centered therapy through evidence based clinical modalities.

Provide targeted assessments of patients, including diagnostic impressions or functional status focused on the presenting problem.

Plan and organize work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust long and short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.

Supervise assigned professional and paraprofessional employees, military personnel, federal civilian employees, and provide technical oversight to contract employees assigned to the Clinic.

Formulate mental health interventions and assist with implementation and monitoring of treatment plans.
