SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Research & Development Group, Weapons & Energetics Department, Weapons & Energetics Safety & Ops Division of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

You will be responsible for managing ordnance logistics supporting Research, Development, Test and Evaluation.

You will supervise civilian and contract personnel, and will work with subordinate supervisors and leads, to ensure all employees understand standard safety regulations, industrial hygiene safeguards, and precautions.

You will educate personnel on the characteristics of ammunition, explosives, or other hazardous materials involved as well as the selection, use, and care of the necessary tools, materials, personnel protective equipment (PPE) and handling equipment.

You will be responsible for overseeing the naval ordnance inventory accuracy and financial program.
