Supervisory Training Instructor (Flight Simulator/Examiner)

About the Position: This position is located at Fort Bliss, Texas- Term Appointment NTE - Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 5 YEARS . Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. This position is located at Fort Bliss, Texas.

Plans , directs, and supervises mission-essential functions in connection with operation of the Training Support Center Aviation Flight Simulator Compound carried out by subordinate employees and key personnel.

Maintains quality Assurance of flight simulator Instrument Operator (IO) standardization and compliance with established IO regulations/guidelines

Responsible for instructor development in the subject matter of professional aviation procedures and techniques.

Continuously monitors and proposes the update of curricula, and evaluates formal and informal classroom instruction to include undergraduate, graduate, and advanced training for aviators.

Instructs and/or oversees the instruction of military pilots and instructor pilots in the operation of single or multi-engine rotary wing aircraft

Establish performance requirements for subordinates and rates their performance.
