As a Core Tech Modules Supplier Quality Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality processes and tools for all aspects of modules quality during development and mass production, working with Apple's multi-functional teams and suppliers to ensure a high-quality product.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality management or relevant roles in the high-tech manufacturing environment
- Direct working experience in the SMT/Mechanical/Electrical process development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, especially in cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in learning and applying advanced technologies (AI, ML) to improve work effectiveness and efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with suppliers to solve product problems.
- Understand mechanical drawing specifications and appropriate measurement techniques.
- Familiar with quality tools, including Cpk, DOE, MSA, sampling plan, data distribution, and data correlation
- Familiar with 8D report and quality tools/techniques, such as finish bone diagrams, CTQ, etc
- Familiar with supplier auditing and development.
- Familiar with TA analysis, understand the 2D/3D model and drawing
- Familiar with data analysis tools like Minitab, JMP, etc, and big-data analysis tools.
