Supply Activity Analyst
Franklin, TN
Represent the Supply department on Activity Teams to ensure success in implementing product activities at the manufacturing sites and through the distribution network. Project management lead for the Supply team from launch through closure – manage project timeline, deliverables, total cost impact, and after-action reviews.
Ensure proper IT systems data set-up is completed to allow for error free start up and transition of products. Manage communication of project information between the activity teams, manufacturing sites, and central supply teams - keeping stakeholders informed of all milestone dates, scope changes, and expected changes to their operations.
What are we looking for?
Minimum
Bachelor's Degree Business, Economics, Supply Chain or other quantitative discipline
2+ years of business experience
Preferred
2+ years of business experience in Supply Chain or manufacturing
SAP Experience
Microsoft Suite Experience
What will be your key responsibilities?
Ensure product data is properly set-up within the Mars Petcare product information systems and through high levels of communication the plants have all required information and systems set-up to run product, ship product through the network and fulfill orders placed by customers.
Confirm with Supply planning that all planning systems are set-up to plan and schedule new or transitioning items. Maintain Item restrictions and customer-specific set-ups, with alignment from Sales Planning and Customer Supply
Manage the supply chain timeline to make the most efficient use of materials, packaging, warehousing and transportation spend when launching new products, transitioning existing products, and discontinuing others.
Monitor distribution plans and execution dates to manage service levels at or above targets for the first 6-weeks of an activity launch.
Represent the plants, operations planning, inbound logistics, replenishment, and the distribution network in the activity team meetings. Relay all needed information to the activity teams, bring questions and tasks back to the teams for completion.
Maintain Supply information summaries for all Activities and distribute to internal customers keeping them informed. Organize and summarize the information in an easily understood format and content. Business writing is key.
