Supply Chain Assistant Manager

Position Summary

  • Employee will keep reconciliation of inventories and transactions in all pallet programs including Crider systems and Pallet portals.
  • Employee will help with clerical duties as needed in the supply chain areas.
  • Employee will manage the EDI transactions and inventory accuracy from and to 3rd party warehouses and shipments confirmations.
  • Employee will learn clerical purchasing transactions and MRP data analytics.

Position Responsibilities

  • Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs, and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed customer expectation.
  • Verify MRP report to call out risk and recommend the creation of PO’s. Manage some of the Min Max items that are not on the MRP.
  • Research, evaluates, and analyzes all Raw materials inventories, FG inventories and pallets programs inventories and notify internal and external stakeholders of variance.
  • Using the systems to keep inventory of EDI receiving, shipments, transfers and pallets program are accurate and making sure physical inventories are done every month or more frequently if needed to ensure accuracy internally and with the vendors portals for pallets.
    • Daily reconciliation.
    • The daily investigation into unreconciled items.
    • The supply of certain financial information and inventory levels to internal customers.
    • The periodic completion of specific reconciliations within agreed timescales.
    • The monthly processing of physical inventories and reporting to the portals if needed.
    • The reporting of monthly and YTD inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy to support Accounting with period-end book closing requirements.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in any transaction that needs clarification in a timely manner.
  • Obey company safety rules and company police.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • College degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related fields
  • Advanced use of Microsoft 365, ERP systems and intense analytical skills are required.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of personnel within the organization and outside vendors.

Preferred Relevant Skills and Experience

  • Computer/PC skills, particularly terminal data entry, data analytics, word processing, and spreadsheet skills.
  • Knowledge on the Pallet programs (Chep, IGPS, PECO) portal is a desired but not required.
  • Inventory control management experience prefer
  • Must be able to meet schedule deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and really detail oriented.
  • Computer/PC skills, particularly terminal data entry, data analytics, word processing, and spreadsheet skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Must be able to bend regularly and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, must be available to work weekends and overtime.
  • Must pass a drug screen.
