About the Role & Objectives
BMC Asia is seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator – Logistics to manage global import/export operations and central warehousing activities. Based in Taichung, Taiwan, this role is critical to ensuring the seamless flow of goods from point of origin to central warehouses, retail partners, and end customers, while maintaining high standards of on-time delivery, traceability, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Import/Export & Warehouse Operations:
o Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations, including goods receipt, storage, picking, customs clearance, and dangerous goods (DG) documentation (e.g., lithium-ion batteries).
o Manage reverse logistics (returns) and handling invoicing processes for global warehouses.
- System Data & Inventory Accuracy:
o Ensure high-quality, up-to-date data integrity in core systems, particularly for inventory management and shipment tracking.
- Peak Season & Campaign Support:
o Manage logistics requirements during seasonal peaks, sales promotions, marketing events, and sports sponsorship activities through effective prioritization.
- Freight Forwarder & Vendor Management:
o Obtain and compare transport quotations from external carriers and maintain strong working relationships with international freight forwarders.
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
o Ensure full compliance with transport laws, export/import regulations, and environmental policies.
o Drive ongoing optimization of logistics workflows and supervise junior team members or interns as required.
