Supply Chain Executive

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, review and release daily, weekly and monthly schedules to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.

  • Plan material requirements and ensure sufficient raw materials, packaging materials and components are available to support production.

  • Coordinate closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales and Engineering departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and timely order fulfilment.

  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs), monitor supplier deliveries and ensure purchased materials arrive according to production schedules.

  • Source, evaluate and develop suppliers, negotiate pricing where required, and monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery and service.

  • Monitor inventory levels, analyse stock movements and recommend appropriate actions to optimise inventory while preventing shortages or excess stock.

  • Review customer forecasts and demand trends to support production planning and inventory management.

  • Perform capacity planning and evaluate production loading for urgent orders, engineering changes and new projects.

  • Liaise with customers regarding delivery schedules, order status and fulfilment requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and analyse planning, inventory and supply chain reports, providing recommendations to Management for continuous improvement.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency, inventory accuracy, supplier performance and overall supply chain effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Material Planning, Purchasing or Manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in Precision Engineering, CNC Machining or Manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

  • Good knowledge of production planning, inventory control, procurement and supply chain management.

  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.

  • Experience in supplier management, demand forecasting and capacity planning will be an added advantage.

  • Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers and associates.
