Supply Chain Executive

Our client, a well-known Japanese firm is currently looking for a Supply Chain Executive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders based on inventory needs and internal requests
• Source quotations from suppliers, compare options, and support purchase decisions
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, availability, lead times, order status, and delivery schedules
• Track outstanding orders and follow through to ensure on-time deliveries
• Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and transaction records
• Update purchasing, inventory, and supply data in internal systems with strong attention to detail
• Support routine purchasing and inventory reporting, including data consolidation and checks
• Assist with monitoring demand signals (sales / usage patterns), stock levels, and replenishment planning inputs
• Flag potential supply risks such as delays, shortages, or constrained lead times to the supervisor early
• Monitor inventory movements, incoming shipments, and expected delivery dates
• Investigate and support resolution of stock discrepancies and purchasing/delivery issues with relevant teams
• Contribute to process improvements and other ad-hoc supply chain coordination tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or inventory management
