Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations for Blue Chip Group's Beverage Division, ensuring the timely and cost-effective availability of materials required to support manufacturing operations.

This position leads purchasing, inventory planning, supplier management, and cross-functional supply chain coordination to support production schedules, maintain appropriate inventory levels, minimize disruptions, and achieve operational and financial performance objectives.

The Supply Chain Manager works closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and other operational teams to improve material availability, strengthen supplier performance, optimize inventory investment, and drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management

• Develop and execute purchasing and inventory strategies to support production requirements.
• Monitor material availability, inventory levels, lead times, and replenishment requirements.
• Coordinate with Production to anticipate material needs and minimize manufacturing disruptions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory, shortages, and carrying costs.

Procurement and Supplier Management

• Manage supplier relationships, purchasing activities, and supplier performance.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and purchasing terms to support cost and service objectives.
• Identify and address supplier performance issues, including quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Develop contingency plans for critical materials and supply disruptions.

Operational Coordination and Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to align supply chain activities with operational requirements.
• Identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify cost savings and process improvements.
• Develop and monitor supply chain KPIs.

Leadership and Accountability

• Supervise, coach, and support the Beverage Supply Chain Purchasing Coordinator, establishing priorities, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely execution of purchasing activities.
• Establish priorities and ensure timely execution of purchasing and inventory activities.
• Promote cross-functional communication and continuous improvement.
• Support departmental objectives and operational performance goals.
