Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including Procurement and Logistics functions. This Executive-level role will manage a team of approximately 30 employees and drive operational excellence across procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing a B2B/B2C distribution environment, with proven capability in optimizing supply chain processes, improving cost efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading large operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 30 employees across Procurement and Logistics departments.
  • Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategies to improve team performance and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to department heads and team members.

End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization

  • Oversee the complete supply chain cycle, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop effective forecasting and planning strategies to ensure consistent supply availability.
  • Drive initiatives to minimize delays and improve service levels.

Compliance & Safety Management

  • Ensure supply chain activities comply with safety requirements, operational procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant industry regulations, including GDPMDS requirements and applicable local/international standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure operational compliance.

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and timely deliveries.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when required.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory planning and stock control to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Balance product availability while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of inventory movements, shipments, and deliveries.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze supply chain performance using KPIs and operational data.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare management reports on supply chain performance, efficiency improvements, and business progress.

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead process improvement, automation, and technology enhancement initiatives.
  • Apply lean management principles and industry best practices to improve operations.
  • Stay updated with supply chain trends and implement suitable solutions.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and other departments to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • 10 years of supply chain management experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/HOD role.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 20+ employees across supply chain functions.
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations within a B2B/B2C distribution, FMCG-style, or similar environment.
  • Experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution operations.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPMDS.
  • Proficient in supply chain management systems, Oracle NetSuite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with lean management and process improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Comfortable with occasional physical handling of heavy loads when required.
