The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain performance of the manufacturing plant, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time, at the right quantity, and at the right cost to support the production schedule and customer requirements.
This position leads and coordinates Demand & Production Planning, Material Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, and Transportation/Logistics.
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for translating customer demand, backlog, and forecast into an executable production plan while ensuring that material availability, supplier performance, production capacity, inventory levels, and logistics are aligned.
The position will work closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), Quality, Finance, Engineering, Sales/Customer Service, and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time customer delivery.
The Supply Chain Manager is a key leader in improving the plant's On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, Schedule Attainment, Material Availability, Supplier Performance, Freight Cost, and overall conversion cost.
This position reports to the Plant Manager and will be based in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

Education
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
Fluent English Verbal and Writing.
Experience
5+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 5 years of management experience.
Experience managing warehouse, inventory, and transportation operations.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.).
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Certifications
APICS CPIM
APICS CSCP
CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution)
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
