SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall F&B Supply Chain operations, including Purchasing, Supply Planning, Warehousing, and Logistics to ensure efficient and scalable processes.
- Develop and maintain a standardized, flexible supply network that supports company growth and drives supply chain excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze end-to-end supply chain processes and contribute actionable insights to enhance business operations.
- Oversee transportation operations by reviewing current practices and implementing improvements to ensure timely delivery of goods and supplies.
- Develop and align supply chain operational plans with broader company strategies and local business objectives, challenging existing strategies to better meet customer and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company policies while continuously improving supply chain processes.
- Manage the local supply chain budget by monitoring expenditures and ensuring alignment with financial targets.
- Partner with customer-facing teams to accurately forecast demand and optimize order fulfillment processes.
- Implement sales and operational planning processes, including demand and supply planning, to meet customer demand and support effective inventory management.
- Manage replenishment and inventory control processes locally, promptly identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Oversee regional warehousing and distribution activities, including selecting and managing third-party distribution partners to ensure efficient operations.
- Drive adoption and effective use of supply chain information management systems to plan, monitor, and report on supply chain activities and outcomes.
- Lead and evaluate the supply chain team by setting clear objectives and holding members accountable for achieving performance goals.
- Engage stakeholders by identifying their needs and concerns, communicating effectively to foster understanding and commitment.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of F&B Supply Chain Management, including procurement and supply chain planning.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and leadership management.
- Proficiency in supply chain principles, negotiation, and purchasing techniques.
- Ability to manage complexity and diverse working environments effectively.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement principles and team development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across matrix organizations.
- Knowledge of global freight, transportation, and logistics best practices.
- Proficiency in ERP software.
