Summary
SteelCell is hiring a Supply Chain Master Data Analyst in Baldwin, GA to own and govern master data (item master, BOMs, routings, planning parameters) in its Global Shop MRP/ERP system, audit inventory transactions, and drive cycle count and inventory accuracy programs. The role requires 5+ years of supply chain experience with hands-on MRP/ERP skills and strong Excel (SQL/Power Query a plus).
Job Summary:
Owns master data for PSG and safeguards inventory data integrity. Maintains the item, BOM, routing, and planning-parameter data that MRP and the production schedule depend on, and audits inventory transactions to keep on-hand accuracy — and system trust — high. Initially PSG-focused, with the master data governance model expected to extend to additional sites over time.
Key Responsibilities
· Own creation, maintenance, and governance of PSG master data — item master, BOMs, routings, vendor records, and planning parameters (lead time, safety stock, reorder points, ABC codes) in Global Shop
· Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and change control for master data
· Audit inventory transactions (receipts, issues, moves, adjustments); identify and root-cause errors
· Drive cycle count and inventory accuracy programs; reconcile discrepancies with operations and purchasing
· Analyze inventory performance (accuracy, aging, excess/obsolete, ABC/Pareto) and surface issues to planning and SIOP
· Partner with planning, purchasing, and production so master data supports an executable schedule
· Support rollout of master data governance to additional sites and divisions
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related, or equivalent work experience
· 5+ years supply chain experience required — inventory control, materials management, or master data
· Hands-on MRP/ERP experience; Global Shop Solutions a plus
· Experience managing supply chain functions across MRP, Excel, and supporting systems in a hands-on, adaptable environment
· Strong attention to detail and comfort with large data sets (Excel required; SQL / Power Query a plus)
· Process discipline and the ability to hold others accountable to data standards
