Supply Chain Officer

  • Up to $3,500 Basic + $100 Transport Allowance + bonus
  • 5-day work week, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Tuas View Circuit
  • Must be comfortable working overtime on Saturdays/Sundays when required

We are a precision engineering and manufacturing company serving customers with specialised welding and engineering solutions. We operates in a fast-paced environment where efficient supply chain coordination and reliable order fulfilment are key to customer satisfaction. We are looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Officer to manage end-to-end supply chain activities, from demand planning and procurement to inventory, logistics and customer order coordination.

📦 Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the key supply chain contact for customers, sales teams and external clients
  • Process, validate and track customer orders from order entry through dispatch and final delivery
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and logistics providers to meet agreed lead times and SLAs
  • Handle order changes, customer feedback, returns/RMAs and fulfilment issues promptly
  • Analyse customer order history and sales forecasts to support supply planning
  • Develop Master Production Schedules (MPS) and Material Requirements Plans (MRP)
  • Monitor buffer stock and reorder points to maintain sufficient inventory for key customer accounts
  • Align material availability with customer requirements and project timelines
  • Issue, process and track Purchase Orders (POs) based on planning requirements
  • Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Track inventory allocated to specific customer orders and prevent stock shortages or misallocation
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory against ERP records
  • Ensure proper packaging, labelling and handling according to customer requirements
  • Arrange inbound and outbound shipments with customers' preferred carriers and shipping instructions
  • Prepare shipping, customs clearance and import/export documentation
  • Track shipment status and proactively communicate potential delays to customers
  • Monitor vendor and logistics provider performance against agreed KPIs and service levels
  • Maintain accurate customer order records, pricing agreements and contracts in the system
  • Identify supply chain issues and work with relevant parties to implement solutions

🎯 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, etc
  • 2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics or supply chain in a manufacturing / engineering environment
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Good knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
  • APICS (CSCP/CPIM) or CIPS certification
