Supply Chain Project Leader

Your Job:

As a Supply Chain Project Leader within Molex Supply Excellence Team (SupEx), you will help transform end-to-end planning and supply chain execution across Molex’s global manufacturing network and business units. You will lead data-driven consulting engagements, process innovation, and digital transformation initiatives—translating complex supply chain challenges into scalable standards, stronger capabilities, and measurable performance improvements.

Our Team:

You will join the Molex Supply Excellence – Corporate Function, reporting to the Senior Manager, Molex Supply Excellence. The role partners globally with manufacturing plants, supply chain hubs, and digital enablement teams to build consistent planning/execution maturity and accelerate adoption of best practices.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as a trusted cross-functional advisor on supply chain, manufacturing, and digital transformation initiatives—aligning technical solutions with supply chain best practices.
• Lead complex, cross-functional projects such as system implementations, process upgrades, and integration efforts to improve planning and execution capability.
• Deliver high-impact analyses (quantitative and qualitative) that solve business-critical problems across all Molex business units, turning insights into actionable recommendations.
• Build compelling, executive-ready storylines and presentations that influence senior leadership decisions and drive alignment.
• Define and drive global standardization for processes, operating procedures, governance routines, KPIs, and data standards to enable scalable performance.
• Champion digital transformation through planning/execution tools, dashboards, automation, and data-driven initiatives—supporting harmonization during system launches, M&A, and integrations.
• Strengthen organizational capability by training, mentoring, and enabling teams on methodologies, tools, and emerging supply chain trends.
• Independently assess site performance, capability, and change readiness; align stakeholders and accelerate adoption of improved ways of working.
• Leverage external best practices (e.g., Gartner, AI/Kinaxis communities) to bring new strategies and technologies into Molex.
• Lead through influence—taking end-to-end ownership, driving adoption, and acting as a catalyst for continuous improvement without direct authority
• Position will be on site in Guadalajara facility.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5–8 years of supply chain experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken), including the ability to present to internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project leadership and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Flexibility to travel globally (approximately 25% annually).

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Degree concentration/major in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Practical working knowledge of SAP and/or MRP modules (MM/PP/SD) and Business Warehouse.
• Strong capability in data analytics, including data storytelling and translating insights into decisions.
• Experience with process excellence methods (Lean/Agile/Six Sigma), process mapping, and improvement.
• Familiarity with digital supply chain tools, automation solutions, and change management to drive adoption and faster value realization.
• Experience engaging external best-practice resources and forums (e.g., Gartner, Kinaxis).
