Leads a small team to plan and forecast supply-chain activities, ensuring stock meets forecasted demand and customer service targets.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Supervise a team of professionals to ensure adequate stock to meet forecast sales demands and to ensure an agreed level of customer service.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads/supervises a team of 2 or more professionals; first level manager of a work team that could comprise professionals, technical and/or administrative staff.
Typically without budget or hire/fire authority.
Focuses on mentoring, coaching, and coordination.
Responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the organisation’s supply chain.
Activities may include analysis, planning and forecasting in the areas of production, materials handling, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation and distribution.

Associates Degree (± 13 years)
Experience / Background
Minimum 4 years
