Summary

Senior Supply & Demand Analyst who leads forecasting, replenishment, and strategic vendor management for high-volume FMCG portfolios, contributing to S&OP, contingency planning, and margin/turnover KPIs. Remote role based in San Salvador using SAP, Power BI, ClickUp, and advanced Excel; bilingual English/Spanish required.

Position Summary:

Lead supply and demand planning for complex or high-volume vendor portfolios, ensuring accurate forecasting, optimal inventory coverage, and strategic vendor management. The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in developing contingency plans, driving process improvements, and contributing to the S&OP cycle with insights that impact company-wide supply and financial performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lead forecast modeling and demand analysis for assigned vendors and categories, using market insights and historical data to ensure optimal stock coverage.

• Own the supply and replenishment plan for assigned portfolios, defining priorities and necessary actions for both shortage and overstock scenarios.

• Build and manage strategic relationships with key vendors, ensuring long-term supply commitments align with company growth objectives.

• Monitor and analyze advanced KPIs: inventory turnover, fill rate, gross margin, stock coverage, short-date exposure, and forecast accuracy.

• Develop and execute contingency plans for supply disruptions, out-of-stock risks, and demand variability scenarios.

• Lead quality case management end-to-end with vendors, coordinating resolution across Finance, Operations, and Inbound teams.

• Evaluate portfolio performance at SKU level and propose items for discontinuation, introduction, or strategic repositioning.

• Generate strategic reports and performance summaries to present to the Supply & Demand Lead and senior management.

• Provide high-quality inputs to the S&OP process, including demand forecasts, risk assessments, and inventory projections by category.

• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Product Development teams to align supply plans with commercial goals, new launches, and budget targets.

• Propose and support budget and operational improvement plans in partnership with the Supply & Demand Lead.

• Ensure proper costs, margins, and inventory accuracy across all assigned vendor portfolios.

• Must be able to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations and physical demands of the position, complying with Ethnix Group’s policies and performance expectations.

Organizational Responsibilities:

Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).

Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).

Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve the department’s efficiency, profitability, and productivity.

Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, supply chain tools, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs and by accessing other sources of information and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

Work Hours (may vary by state or location):

This position is scheduled for 44 hours in a regular work week. Additional support within non-regular hours may be required and should be discussed with the supervisor. No additional compensation for overtime is offered for this position.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in supply chain, supply planning, or demand planning in FMCG, food & beverage, or equivalent industries. Proven track record in inventory management, vendor relationship management, and forecasting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science, or equivalent is required. Postgraduate studies in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.

Language Ability:

Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete documents, and answer questions in English and Spanish. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as needed.

Math Ability:

Demonstrated advanced mathematical and analytical skills including statistical forecasting, trend analysis, variance analysis, and margin calculations.

Reasoning Ability:

Demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytical thinking to complex supply scenarios. Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and translating data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

Computer Skills:

Demonstrated proficiency in the office suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.

Advanced level in SAP for supply planning, inventory management, and financial reporting. Advanced level in Power BI for performance dashboard development and data storytelling. Proficiency in ClickUp for project and workflow management. Expert Excel skills including financial modeling, forecasting models, and scenario planning.

Proficiency and fluency in using and navigating the internet and websites.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong analytical acumen with the ability to connect supply chain decisions to broader business outcomes including margin, fill rate, and working capital. Demonstrated risk management orientation with a systematic approach to identifying vulnerabilities and building contingency plans before they become operational problems. Skilled at managing strategic vendor relationships with a results-oriented approach, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term partnership goals. Comfortable presenting data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions without direct authority.

Certificates and Licenses:

• TOEFL – English certificate or equivalent

• Power BI certification or equivalent (desirable)

• SAP certification (desirable)

• Supply Chain Management certification (APICS CPIM or equivalent – desirable)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. The Senior Analyst may provide guidance and knowledge-sharing support to Analyst Jr and Analyst II team members as part of the team’s collaborative dynamic.
