About the role:
Based in our Wellington branch and reporting to the Regional Manager as an Account Manager you will play a key role in growing market segments across the Lower North Island. You'll do this by building strong customer relationships and providing quotations and information to close the sales.
A key part of this role will be to build and strengthen relationships with construction, designers, builders, architects, merchants, fabricators, as well as our residential customers for future opportunities.
You’ll bring an established network within the building industry as well as the experience from working in these sectors that you can draw from to be successful in this role.
What success looks like in this role:
New customers and projects brought on board
Strong relationships built with new and existing customers
Prompt and detailed information and quotations are provided with agreed time frames
Ability to close and seek feedback; converting insights to support the business in making informed decisions
Support customers by helping to improve their knowledge of Viridian products and services
Driving a culture of health and safety
What you'll bring to the role:
Results driven - you will have a strong desire to succeed and win
Previous experience in customer facing role with either residential or commercial project experience
Understanding Glazing would be an advantage
Strong time management and communication skills
Previous building industry experience would be an advantage, but not essential
