Reports To: Program Manager


Pay & Benefits: Earn $23.97 per hour plus an additional $5.42 per hour Health & Welfare benefit. PRI also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, and 401(k) eligibility.

Position Overview

Prime Response, Inc. (PRI) is seeking a Supply Support Specialist to support logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, procurement coordination, and supply support activities at a U.S. Coast Guard training facility in Petaluma, California.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment that supports multiple departments. This position plays an important role in ensuring supplies, materials, equipment, and inventory are accurately tracked, properly stored, and readily available to support mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supply and Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Track incoming and outgoing materials and ensure transactions are accurately documented.
  • Coordinate the storage, distribution, and movement of supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory trends, identify shortages or excess stock, and assist with inventory planning.
  • Generate inventory and operational reports and support data analysis efforts.
  • Conduct inventory audits and quality assurance reviews to maintain accurate records.

Procurement and Vendor Support

  • Initiate purchase requests for supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Support procurement activities and assist with tracking orders and deliveries.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors regarding shipments, invoicing, and delivery coordination.
  • Support customer and supplier inquiries related to logistics and supply operations.

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, inspect, process, and distribute incoming shipments.
  • Verify shipments against receiving documentation and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare materials for storage or distribution in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist with warehouse coverage and material handling operations as needed.
  • Support inventory counts, property management activities, and excess property disposition.
  • Assist with electronic waste collection and disposal documentation.

Administrative and Customer Support

  • Support housing, facilities, and student administration functions as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information regarding supplies, inventory, and related services.
  • Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient operations.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in supply, warehouse, logistics, inventory management, shipping/receiving, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required installation access credentials, including successful completion of background screening requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with customers, teammates, and management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting government, military, or logistics operations.
  • Experience with inventory tracking systems, warehouse management systems, or supply databases.
  • Experience coordinating procurement or purchasing activities.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Material handling or warehouse equipment experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, move, and organize materials and supplies.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, storage, and office environments.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment after receiving required training and certifications.
