Supply Technician
About the Position: This position is located within the Regional Dental Laboratory in Branch Dental Clinic Norfolk as part of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Perform a variety of supply management duties to support the requisition, receipt, storage, issue, replenishment, inventory and control of supplies standard medical and non-medical items.
Maintain a monthly purchase log that reflects each card transaction, proper element of resource code, PCN and cost center.
Purchase goods and supplies for the department using a Government Purchase Card.
Distribute items to each section within the dental laboratory.
Research potential errors in records, and initiate action to reconcile or correct errors.
