Supply Technician (OA)

About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Transportation Command, 833d U.S. Army Transportation Battalion, located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.

Maintains accountability for property using Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) and hand receipts.

Conducts reconciliations with the Supply Support Activity (SSA) to validate the document register.

Reviews requirements to ensure requested equipment is authorized on the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA).

Executes requests for lateral transfers received from the Property Book Officer.

Monitors the requisition, storage, and distribution of supplies and property book items.

Manages the Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, including reconciling monthly statements.

Utilizes various software and hardware (word processing, databases, email, scanners) to accomplish tasks.

Coordinates with the contracting office to develop alternative sources of supply.

Answers telephone calls and receives visitors, supplying general information as authorized.
