Support Analyst - PSTN, Networking

Requirements:

• Experience working within an IT support, infrastructure, or telephony environment.
• Strong understanding of telephony technologies, with PSTN knowledge essential.
• Networking knowledge, including IP networking and patching.
• Experience configuring or supporting IP phones.
• Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent administration and documentation skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and travel between multiple London sites.

Responsibilities:

• Visit multiple London sites to investigate and audit PSTN telephone lines.
• Identify where telephone lines are located and determine how they are being used.
• Document connected equipment, services, and dependencies.
• Engage with business users and site representatives to gather accurate information.
• Record findings and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Support the wider telephony review and migration programme.
• Liaise with internal IT teams and third-party suppliers where required.
• Assist with basic networking, IP phone configuration, and connectivity investigations.

We are recruiting for a Support Analyst with PSTN experience to support a key telephony and infrastructure review programme across a large London-based organisation. This is a 6 month contract, inside IR35, offering a hybrid working setup in London with a rate of £325-£375 per day and an asap start. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a blend of technical IT knowledge, telephony experience, and strong administrative skills who enjoys working across multiple sites and engaging with stakeholders to gather accurate technical information.
