Support Engineer
SUPPORT ENGINEER
FLEX Payment Solutions seeks a creative and highly motivated Support Engineer to join our St. Louis area team. This is a new role for the company and will allow a great deal of freedom/ability to invent processes for the individual filling the position.
The Support Engineer will report directly to the Senior Software Architect and will be responsible for being FLEX’s ‘frontline’ tech support for FLEX internal team and Merchant (This is a remote role in the St. Louis area so sporadic team meetings in the Fenton, MO office are possible).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Issue and Triage Troubleshooting
- Incident Resolution
- Technical Customer Communication
- Knowledge Documentation
- System Maintenance
- Testing of Program Updates
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Databases: Ability to run MS SQL queries and analyze relational databases
- Operating Systems: Wording knowledge of Windows environments
- Cloud: Ability to navigate and understand key Azure resources and platform uses
- Web Technologies: Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
- Ticketing Systems: Experience with helpdesk platforms & Implementing new processes for handling issues
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in reading C# and Typescript

- 3+ years prior business experience in a similar role
